Schnell Family Farm opened in Pinckney in 2019. Less than 30 minutes North of the city, this is a great place to go to pick a pumpkin! This family-owned farm is perfect for the family that wants to support a local small business. Come for the pumpkins, stay for all the other activities they have to offer such as a u-pick apple orchard and a corn maze. This makes Schnell Family Farm a great one-stop shop for fall family fun!
Wells Pumpkin Farm
Wells Pumpkin Farm is just West of town. They offer a large variety of beautiful pumpkins starting in mid-to-late September. Whether you want the perfect orange pumpkin or something a little more unique than what you can find at the local grocery store, look no further.
Wing Farms
If you want to visit a pumpkin patch in Ann Arbor and have a full experience, you just might want to check out Wing Farms. This family farm has been around for over 150 years and is still going strong. You can start your visit with a free hayride to the pumpkin patch where they have pumpkins of all sizes. You can also enjoy some apple cider and visit the animals on this working farm.
DeBuck’s Family Farm
DeBuck’s Family Farm is located in Belleville and is a crowd favorite. Family-owned and operated since 2009, they offer a full fall experience. You do pay admission (or you can grab a season pass), but you’re getting more than just pumpkins. Make a day out of the trip and enjoy a huge variety of activities they offer, such as a candy cannon, rat races, combine slides, and so much more!
Wiard’s Orchard
Wiard’s Orchard has been hugely popular since I was a kid. In addition to their pumpkin patch, they have a corn maze, u-pick apples, wagon rides, a petting farm, and so much more. Like DeBuck’s, they charge admission, but they offer so much that the experience is worth it. However, if you don’t want to pay admission, you can still get pumpkins from inside their store.
